Terms You Agree to When Booking with Us

By booking directly with Casa del Mar Retreat, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for all guests.

1. Booking & Payment

  • Reservations require full or partial payment at the time of booking, depending on the platform or booking method.
  • All rates are listed in USD and may include applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise stated.
  • By confirming a reservation, Guest authorizes Casa del Mar Retreat to charge the payment method on file for all applicable charges, including damages, additional cleaning, or policy violations.

2. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Standard check-in and check-out times vary by property and are confirmed at booking.
  • Early check-in and late check-out requests must be approved in advance and may be subject to additional fees.
  • Unauthorized late check-out may result in additional charges.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation policies vary based on the booking platform, rate type, and length of stay.
  • Guests are responsible for reviewing the applicable cancellation policy prior to booking.
  • Any refunds will be processed according to the policy associated with the reservation.

4. Occupancy & Use of Property

  • Only registered guests listed on the reservation are permitted to stay overnight.
  • Maximum occupancy limits must be strictly followed and vary by property.
  • Unauthorized guests or misuse of the property may result in cancellation without refund and additional fees.

5. House Rules & Guest Conduct

Guests agree to:

  • Follow all house rules provided prior to or during the stay
  • Treat the property with care and respect
  • Avoid disturbances to neighbors or surrounding areas

Strictly prohibited:

  • Parties, events, or large gatherings
  • Smoking or vaping indoors
  • Illegal activity

Failure to comply may result in early termination of the stay without refund.

6. Cleaning & Property Condition

  • A cleaning fee may be included in your reservation.
  • Guests are expected to leave the property in reasonable condition.
  • Excessive mess, stains, odors, or misuse may result in additional cleaning or replacement fees.

7. Damages & Additional Charges

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
  • Casa del Mar Retreat reserves the right to charge for:
    • Property damage
    • Missing items
    • Excessive cleaning
    • Unauthorized guests or pets
  • Charges may be applied after checkout upon inspection.

8. Security Deposits (If Applicable)

  • Some reservations may require a refundable security deposit.
  • Deposits may be used to cover damages, violations, or additional charges.
  • Any remaining balance will be returned within a reasonable timeframe after checkout, in accordance with platform policies.

9. Pets

  • Pets are allowed at select properties with prior approval and applicable fees.
  • Guests are fully responsible for pet behavior, damages, and additional cleaning.
  • Unauthorized pets may result in additional charges or cancellation of the reservation.

10. Guest Verification & Screening

  • Casa del Mar Retreat may utilize third-party guest screening services to verify reservations.
  • Guests agree to complete any required verification steps if requested.
  • Failure to complete required screening may result in cancellation of the reservation.

11. Parking

  • Parking availability varies by property and will be outlined in the listing.
  • Guests must follow all provided parking instructions.
  • Casa del Mar Retreat is not responsible for damage, theft, or towing of vehicles.

12. Deliveries & Personal Belongings

  • We are not responsible for packages, deliveries, or personal belongings left at the property.
  • Guests are responsible for retrieving all items prior to checkout.
  • Shipping of forgotten items may incur additional fees.

13. Liability & Assumption of Risk

  • Guests assume full responsibility for their stay and use of the property.
  • Casa del Mar Retreat is not liable for:
    • Injuries, accidents, or medical incidents
    • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
  • All use of the property is at the Guest’s own risk.

14. Force Majeure

Casa del Mar Retreat shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather or hurricanes
  • Government actions
  • Utility outages

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
